This is the most important step in having a successful shopping trip!

  • Learn each stores coupon policy
  • If you use the binder method for coupon organization make sure to have them with you at all times, you never know when a deal will pop up!  (this is the benefit of the system)
  • Match coupons to sales
  • Shop at stores that double coupons
  • Combine BOGO sales with BOGO coupons (if your stores policy allows)
  • Coupon the clearance rack
  • Coupon in the trial section: Most coupons will specify the size of the product that you must purchase.  However, it they don’t then it is game on.  You can get the item for free or next to nothing!!  With some stores (check stores coupon policies) you maybe able to have any coupon overage applied o your order or get cash back!
  • Stack Coupons: Increase your savings by combining a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon for the same item.
