OK, you know where to find coupons and how to organize them. So how do you match your coupons to the sales? Well that is easy!
I use the following website CouponTom. Follow the below steps.
- Search the name of the product or the description example: Purina or dog food
- You will get a list of where to find the item you are searching
- The first column is Location: which is the date and the source where the coupon was issued example: 05/01 S2 (May 1st Smart Source insert #2)
- The second column is the Description: A brief description of what the coupon is for (Purina Dog Chow or Puppy Chow on ONE bag, 4.4 lb or larger)
- The Third column is Discount: The face value of the coupon ($1.50)
Putting the steps all together
- Review your favorite blog for the best deals!
- Take the stores ad and do a coupon search, using CouponTom for the item(s) that you are interested in purchasing and note the information either on the ad or on a pad of paper.
- Make your list
- Clip your coupons
